Local Bands, Approximate Years | 1972 Plum Loco. After that I was in a hard funk band with Lewis Graves and John Price from the Rhythm Rockers that rehearsed in Pompano Beach and played Shula’s (with Tommy Strand and the Upper Hand with Jaco on bass) and the Button in Lauderdale. Played with Marshall Grant at some society casuals and his night club in Palm Beach. (Later in LA his son Jaime played with me on casuals and concerts.) Jammed with Ric Glass when he was in Hard Road. Jammed with Brian Bell from Palm Beach Gardens. I later drafted him into a band in Northern California called “Bad Shoes”. Band imploded and move to LA in 1974 where I have been stuck ever since. 😉 |
