Comments, Highlights, Stories | StageFright started out practicing in a hot, sweaty rental locker in W.P. Beach. 2 fabulous songwriters, Ron Morgan and Mike Major, had a repertoire that was unequalled. For 6 months we practiced, fought, and tried to be the best we could be. After several venues, we landed a 2 week job at Sky Pilot in Lantana on Military Trail near Lantana Road. Each night the crowds grew larger, but the owner screwed us on our last paycheck. By then, the overgrown egos and animosity towards each other had taken its toll and the band broke up. We can only imagine what we may have become. But, then again, Disco had taken hold and Rock ‘n Roll had taken a back burner. |
