(Later Post review on bands, “Red Dog Kin in particular generated considerable excitement”) Singer Patty Moan featured in Post-Times Aug. 8 1971 story, on women in local bands. “Red Dog Kin had a one-year contract with Capitol Records, and made one album, according to Patty’s father Dale Curtis of WIRK.” Song “Don’t Mess with a Woman”, on Helen Reddy’s “Long Hard Climb” album, was written by Michael Curtis, Richard Curtis and Patty Moan.
