Played “Getting it Together Fest” at W.P.B. Auditorium, with World of Sound and Dalas Starr. (Later Post review on bands, “Red Dog Kin in particular generated considerable excitement”) Singer Patty Moan featured in Post-Times Aug. 8 1971 story, on women in local bands. “Red Dog Kin had a one-year contract with Capitol Records, and made one album, according to Patty’s father Dale Curtis of WIRK.”

Song “Don’t Mess with a Woman”, on Helen Reddy’s “Long Hard Climb” album, was written by Michael Curtis, Richard Curtis and Patty Moan.
